Our monthly meeting will be held virtually via Google Meets and in-person at Ministry of Brewing (1900 E Lombard St). The monthly community meetings have been changed to the third Monday of the month at 7pm for the next two months. We will have another vote in May to decide whether or not to make this a permanent change.)

*Chris Kelley from Kelley Gardens (501 S Ann) will discuss some ideal houseplants and how you can decorate with colorful and quirky planters to “green” your home to celebrate Earth Day and every day!
**Discussion with possible votes: 1) 200 S Broadway - Since we had major technical difficulties during the discussion/vote on this project at our March meeting and the online form had errors, the vote on this project will be retaken at our April meeting. There will be two votes: One is to do nothing and two is for a letter of support or not for the contractor, Edgemont Builders, to see about acquiring the parking lot adjacent to this property which is owned by the City but not part of the Perkins project (yes, no, abstain on both votes). (Note: The City has already approved the conversion to 14 apartments. Currently no off-street parking is included; however, if the adjacent lot is obtained, there would be 12 off-street parking spaces. Also, this property is not located inside the boundaries of the UFPIA or the Washington Hill Association; the Perkins Homes Association is not active now.); 2) 1724 Gough (conversion from 2 to 5 units); and 3) possibly the rehab of 209 S Chapel.
***50/50 cash raffle - Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 (cash only). The amount of money collected is split between the winner and the UFPIA. The drawing is held at the end of the meeting; you must be present to win; proceeds to the general fund.
The Community meeting starts promptly at 7:00pm and runs from 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on discussions. Join us! (Note: To be eligible to vote, you must have paid your 2022 membership dues, be age 18+, live in our boundaries, and have attended at least 2 of the last preceding 11 meetings and/or attended Association sponsored events/activities.
