November 21st Community Meeting Agenda
The monthly community meeting is held on the third Monday of the month at 7pm in-person at the Ministry of Brewing (1900 E Lombard) as well as virtually. (Note: Ministry of Brewing is closed to the public on Mondays but will be open for attendees; the bar also will be open beginning at 6:30pm.)

· Guest Speakers: 1) Angie Kelley, Community Engagement Manager from Moveable Feast; and 2) Joshua Espinoza, the UFPIA’s Land-Use Committee*

*Guest Speakers: 1) Ms. Kelley will give an update about Moveable Feast. (They prepare/deliver medically tailored meals and provide nutritional education to Marylanders experiencing food insecurity and chronic illnesses.) 2) Joshua Espinoza from the UFPIA's Land-Use Committee will give a brief introduction to the proposed new UFPIA land-use guidelines with a short discussion. We will continue the discussion in further detail with a possible vote at our January 16, 2023 meeting. **Vote: Members of the UFPIA Board will present a Blocks initiative (i.e., formerly blocks captains plan) and there may be a vote.
***50/50 cash raffle: The amount of money collected is normally split between the winner and the UFPIA. This month’s UFPIA proceeds will be donated to Moveable Feast. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 (cash only). The drawing is held at the end of the meeting; you must be present to win.
The Community meeting starts promptly at 7:00pm and runs from 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on discussions. Join us! (Note: To be eligible to vote, you must have paid your 2022 membership dues, be age 18+, live in our boundaries, and have attended at least 2 of the last preceding 11 meetings and/or attended Association sponsored events/activities.
