Hybrid Meeting
Over 40 people attended in-person and virtually.
Thanks to the Ministry of Brewing for hosting our hybrid format and to everyone for their patience with sound issues.
Guest Speaker
Chris Kelley, Kelley Gardens
Kelley Gardens (501 S Ann) offers mainly indoor plants and some outdoor plants and vegetables. They hold periodic pop-ups with local artists (kellygardens@gmail.com) and offer kids events. They also provide pet sitting and dog walking services (petcareextraordinaire2@gmail.com) and have informal plant swaps.
Discussion/Votes
200 S Broadway – Due to technical glitches at our last meeting, a revote was taken on providing a letter of support for Edgemont Builders to purchase the adjacent lot from the City for parking; motion passed.
1724 Gough (conversion from 2 to 5 units); motion passed for a letter of support.
Recycling bins: Motion to spend $150 as a one-time purchase of large paper bags as a temporary option for recycling; motion passed.

Earth Day Celebrations - Sip & Plant Swap (April 23rd) and Mayor’s cleanup on the 30th with main focus on storm drains.
Dumpster Day coming up: May 21st.
Education

Working on expanding beyond Wolfe St. Academy
Seeking financial and housing education.
Need volunteer to teach typing and other tutoring volunteers are needed too.
Internet service for students is guaranteed until July so seeking financial or other assistance. If you’d like to donate to Wolfe St. Academy for this, contact George at education@upperfellspoint.org.
Wolfest is planned for 5/21.

Tickets $45 each or $15 for just desserts; both include beverages
Block party on 200 S Durham for the dessert portion; more details coming soon. Need help in Spanish communications and reaching out to those who live on the block.

To vote on issues at a meeting, you must have paid your current dues (based on calendar year beginning in January), attended 2 of the preceding 11 meetings, live in our boundaries and be age 18 and/or attended UFPIA sponsored events/activities per our Meeting & Voting Regulations.
