June 2022 Community Meeting Recap
Note: Any changes to the minutes should be directed to Lynnie at secretary@upperfellspoint.org.
Hybrid Meeting
Over 30 people attended in-person and virtually.
Thanks to the Ministry of Brewing for hosting our hybrid format and to everyone for their patience with sound issues and to Tom, Lynnie and Mallory for technical assistance.
Guest Speaker
Marvin Hayes, Baltimore Compost Collective Program
The BCCP’s youth-led compost group collects food scraps from residents and composts the material at the Filbert St. Community Garden in Curtis Bay.
To bring the program to UFP, they would need at least 25 households (cost is $25/mo.) and a youth from our neighborhood to help with curbside drop-off. If interested, contact Lynnie.

The UFPIA received a grant of $8,000 from the Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund (JHNF) for our traffic calming project with Art in the Right Of Way (ROWArt).
Amount was less than needed for the 3 intersections that UFPIA members previously identified (E Pratt & S Ann; Gough & S Wolfe; and E Pratt & S Wolfe); need $4K for drawings and $13K for all the paintings.
The Wolfe-Washington Bikeway is to be on Washington with traffic calming on Wolfe.
Grant monies cannot be used for any other purpose without prior written approval from JHNF.
