Hybrid Meeting

  • Over 30 people attended in-person and virtually.

  • Thanks to the Ministry of Brewing for hosting our hybrid format and to everyone for their patience with sound issues.

Guest Speakers

Julie Community Center - Laura Syron, Exec. Director

Arco Sen: Department of Planning & Parking Authority

  • Four electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be added to the north end of the 200 block of S Broadway (2 in UFP and 2 on the west end) - aim for hub spots that are in groupings of 4 to support the infrastructure

    • Most UFP homes do not have parking spots available for EV charging

    • Moderate number of EVs registered in the zip code/neighborhood

    • Existing chargers in Little Italy garage and Fleet & Eden garage (both ~.5 mile walk from neighborhood) - This would not be in a garage

    • Amperage will be 32 amp stations/plug installed on a 40 amp circuit/plug (adds 25mi/hour of charge approx); plug is J1772

    • EV parkers will have to pay parking meter while charging or will be ticketed

    • If non-EV parker is in the space, encourage residents to call 311 to report an issue
