Community Garden
Jan Mooney - communitygarden@upperfellspoint.org
Eight of our gardeners spent 65 hrs. over the last few weeks repairing the east block wall and walkway in the back – this was in addition to their regular maintenance tasks.
New note cards and other items are for sale – great, unique gift ideas - click here to shop. (Proceeds help our pollinators and the garden provides a green space for our neighborhood too.)
Land-Use
Mark Hoffmann - landuse@upperfellspoint.org
Sub-committee will be working on identifying sidewalks that need repair; contact Mark.

New Business
Robbie Tutlewski from Little Donna’s (formerly Henninger’s Tavern) stated that he hopes to open in Jan/Feb. (waiting on permits from the City). He has been a chef for 25 yrs. and was in the Washington, DC area for the last 4 yrs. (The restaurant is named for his grandmother.)
Apryl Bancroft mentioned she would like to setup and maintain a community pantry. Several neighbors on S Durham will be building the pantry (similar to The Little Library) and once done she will ask neighbors to help stock it with food items.
Ideas for a holiday event in Dec. were discussed (although nothing was finalized but stay tuned).
The Powell Recovery Center has approached several homeowners in the Washington Hill neighborhood to purchase their property.
To vote on issues at a meeting, you must have paid your current dues (based on calendar year beginning in January), attended 2 of the preceding 11 meetings, live in our boundaries and be age 18 and/or attended UFPIA sponsored events/activities per our Meeting & Voting Regulations.
