Co-design

  1. Community input on design

  2. Finalize design

Approval from the City (Send a map with lineage of the proposed installation)

  1. Submit Installation and Maintenance Plan

  2. Letters of support from homeowners at adjacent corners and the UFPIA

  3. Receive documents to move forward

  4. 2-year contract with Baltimore City

Present MOU to the UFPIA

  1. We can choose to sign or not sign

  2. One-time $250 insurance fee covers all installations

  3. Provide date(s) to the City

  4. Can supply flex posts if we want them but we must cover cost

  5. If approved, submit signed MOU, maintenance agreement and insurance certificate

Prep/Installation by DOT/UFPIA

  1. UFPIA buys paint, materials, etc.

  2. Create installation plan

  3. Installation

  4. Complete finishing documents
